Listed below is a list of EWU sports camps, brochures and contacts for summer 2009. We will continue to update this page when 2009 summer camp information becomes available. CLICK HERE for a listing of non-sports summer camps offered by EWU.

$175 per team with a minimum of five games. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the tournament starts at 10 a.m. For more information, contact John Graham (509-359-6918).

We would like to invite you and your fellow coaches to the inaugural Eastern Washington University Strength & Conditioning Clinic for Football Coaches. The clinic is designed to give all football coaches, a solid foundation in the basic fundamentals of strength training, speed mechanics, agility training and injury prevention.

2009 Eastern Washington Football Camp - June 19-23, 2009

COST: $330 per player (includes four nights of supervised dormitory residence, 12 meals, camp t-shirt and camp instruction). A commuter rate is also available by contacting Chris Hansen.

2009 Men's Basketball Team Camp - June 22-25, 2009

Team camps are for high school varsity, junior varsity and freshman teams.

COST: $290 per player (room and board, meals), $165 per player (commuter rate, includes meals). All teams are required to have a minimum of eight players per team.

Eagle Head Coach Kirk Earlywine and his staff provide quality, worthwhile instruction for individual and team skill development.
WIAA Clock Hours (in-state coaches).
EWU Continuing Education Credits (all coaches).
High level of team competition. Teams placed in one of four divisions based on size and ability level.
A minimum of 9 games per team, ALL INDOOR.
2 minute situational tournament.
Certified trainer available at all times during camp.
Officials provided for all games.
NCAA rules and eligibility overview.
Eagle Basketball T-shirt for each camper.
Coaches Social each night.

2009 Men's Basketball Day Camp - June 29-July 2, 2009

The 2009 June men's basketball team camp has been canceled. Please check back here for 2010 camps.

For Boys and Girls grades K-8, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day

COST: $145 per camper ($10 discount for campers from the same family). Send $45 non-refundable deposit to reserve spot, only 125 spots available.

COST: $220 per day camper (6 practice sessions, 3 meals, t-shirt and prizes), $320 per resident camper (8 practice sessions, 7 meals, lodging, t-shirt and prizes)

2009 Eastern Soccer Team Camp - July 20-24, 2009

For girls high school or club (ages 14-16) teams. Minimum of 12 players per team

COST: $395 residential, $240 commuter. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due with the application to hold your position in the camp. The remaining amount is due by June 25, 2008. Special pricing is available for teams between 15-18 players and multiple teams from the same club.

2009 Eagle Soccer Youth Camp - July 6-10, 2009

Boys and girls U6-U8 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. daily and boys & girls U9-U12 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. daily

COST: $40 for U6-U8, $80 for U9-U12. Prices include a camp t-shirt, and special pricing for teams and families with more than one child.

2009 Eagle Goalkeeping Camp - July 13-17, 2009

Youth camp for boys & girls U8-U13 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and high school camp for boys & girls U14-U18 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily

COST: $90 per player if you register before June 1st, $100 per player if you register after June 1st. Both prices includes camp t-shirt.

The effective soccer goalkeeping camp is designed for goalkeepers who want to further develop their skills and understanding of the importance of goalkeeping.

The Youth Camp covers all of the essential skills of goalkeeping. For example, reaction saves, deflecting and boxing, dealing with crosses, 1 v. 1 situations, the diving save, penalty kicks, set plays, angle play, and much more!

The High School Camp will also cover all of the essential skills of goalkeeping. In addition, this camp is designed to prepare players for their upcoming high school or club season, including daily fitness and strength sessions. Also, a college recruiting lecture for players with college playing aspirations will be given on the last day of camp. Parents are welcome to attend.

2009 Eagle Women's Basketball Team Camp

COST: $1,000 per team (25-40 players)

DATES: To mutually be determined; June, July or August (two consecutive days)

2009 Eagle Eaglet Camp

WHO: Boys & Girls; ages 5-12 years old
COST: $80 per child (family discounts available)
LOCATION: Reese Court on the EWU Campus
DATES: July 27th-31st, 2009
TIME: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Quality coaching staff, including current Eagle Women's Basketball players
An emphasis on the fundamentals of basketball in an enriching environment.
Activities include drills in shooting, ball handling, passing, defense, as well as game competition.
Games will also be played, teaching teamwork at cooperation with the chances to win prizes.
Each participant will receive a camp t-shirt, tickets to a 2009-2010 Eagle Women's Basketball game, and an exclusive opportunity to be ball girl or boy for the team during the season.
